Event Recap: ABSOLUT #BornToMix
March 1st was a day full of energy, positivity, and empowering moments. ABSOLUT, in collaboration with the incredibly talented Olly Alexander, kicked off the third edition of their #BornToMix campaign, which is all about celebrating changemakers and bringing people together. This time, they partnered with three incredible individuals driving real change within their communities which included our founder trina nicole.
One of the highlights of the day was the Self-Empowerment Event hosted by none other than Trina, who shared her story and passions while inspiring others to take action and make a difference in their own lives.
When asked about what she had planned, Trina explained, “In a nutshell, it's all about Confidence, Community, and Connection. I often hear from individuals who want to boost their confidence, and since confidence-building isn't a one-size-fits-all journey, I wanted to create an event that combines insights from motivational speakers, engaging confidence workshops, and networking opportunities. The goal is to curate an experience that leaves participants feeling empowered, inspired, and equipped with the tools to navigate life and show up for themselves, unapologetically.”
this event brought together a vibrant and diverse community of individuals to engage in powerful discussions, take part in an uplifting runway class led by the Curve Catwalk, and connect with others who share the same goals of building a more inclusive, confident world. With panel talks on confidence and body positivity, the event created a welcoming space for everyone to learn, grow, and be inspired.
Trina shared her thoughts on the campaign with hello mag saying, “Campaigns like this help prove that anyone can make a change. Thinking about positive change can be kind of overwhelming, like this huge, scary task. But when we share lots of stories and different paths of how us changemakers pulled it off, I hope it makes it seem doable for others. If everyone did a little bit to make changes in their communities, the world could be a way better place”
The event was a huge success, leaving everyone feeling inspired and ready to take on the world with renewed confidence. The energy in the room was nothing short of electric, and it was clear that the combination of ABSOLUT's #BornToMix campaign and Trina’s empowering self-empowerment event made for a truly unforgettable experience.
